MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian historical drama The Arctic Convoy (Konvoi). The album features the film’s original music composed by Johannes Ringen (Troll, The Quake, Captain Fall, The Burning Sea, The Girl from Oslo). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. The Arctic Convoy is written and directed by Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken and stars Tobias Santelmann, Adam Lundgren, Anders Baasmo, Jakob Fort and Fredrik Stenberg Ditlev-Simonsen. The movie is set in 1942 during World War II and follows the leader of a convoy carrying vital military supplies to a Norwegian outpost who decides to proceed through enemy-infested waters despite the recall of their military escort. The drama opened in Norwegian theaters last December and is being released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD today by Magnolia Pictures’ Magnet Releasing before coming out on Blu-ray and DVD on October 22.
