Ludwig Göransson has received his first Golden Globe in the Original Score category for his score for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer at tonight’s 81st Golden Globe Awards ceremony. He has previously been nominated three times for his scores from Black Panther and Tenet, as well as the song Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Check out his acceptance speech below. The other composers nominated in the score category were Jerskin Fenfrix (Poor Things), Joe Hisaishi (The Boy and the Heron), Mica Levi (The Zone of Interest) and Robbie Robertson (Killers of the Flower Moon).

In the Original Song category, Billie Eilish & Finneas O’Connell won the award for What Was I Made For from Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
