Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (Living, Censor, The Forgotten Battle) is the composer of the new ITV medical drama Maternal. The show is written by Jacqui Honess-Martin and stars Parminder Nagra, Lara Pulver and Lisa McGrillis. The 6-part series directed by James Griffiths (A Million Little Things) revolves around three female doctors returning to post-pandemic frontline medicine after maternity leave and having to heroically balance the intense demands of the NHS and motherhood. Honess-Martin and Griffiths are also executive producing the project with Patrick Spence (Peaky Blinders, A Spy Among Friends) and Kat Pugsley for ITV Studios. Maternal is premiering in the UK tonight on ITV and will also be available to stream on ITVX.
The Levienaise-Farrouch-scored drama Living directed by Oliver Hermanus is currently playing in U.S. theaters.
