Premiering on Wednesday, May 11, is the Netflix original documentary Our Father directed by Lucie Jourdan and produced by Jason Blum. The Blumhouse production, which tells the story of a woman who – after an at-home DNA test reveals she has multiple half-siblings – discovers a shocking scheme involving donor sperm and a popular fertility doctor, will be available to stream on Netflix.

Premiering on Friday, May 13, is the Apple TV+ original series The Essex Serpent developed by Anna Symon based on Sarah Perry’s novel and starring Claire Danes, Tom Hiddleston, Frank Dillane, Clémence Poésy and Hayley Squires. The show’s original music is composed by Dustin O’Halloran (LionTransparent, The Old Guard, Like CrazyThe Hate U GiveAmmonite) & Herdís Stefánsdóttir (Y: The Last Man, The Sun Is Also a StarWe’re Here). Kelley & Ted Humphrey based on Michael Connelly’s novels and starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Christopher Gorham, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson. David Buckley (The Good Wife, Angel Has FallenNobody, PapillonThe Stranger, The Forbidden Kingdom, Greenland) is composing the show’s original music. Also premiering on Friday is the Disney+ original movie Sneakerella directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum and starring Chosen Jacobs, Lexi Underwood, Bryan Terrell, Devyn Nekoda, John Salley and Yvonne Senat Jones. The film’s original score is composed by Elvin Ross (Diary of a Mad Black WomanMadea Goes to Jail, Honey: Rise Up and Dance, Boo! A Madea Halloween).
