Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Chinese action drama The Rescue. The album features the film’s original music composed by Elliot Leung (Operation Red Sea, Warriors of Future). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The Rescue is directed by Dante Lam and stars Eddie Peng, Wang Yanlin, Xin Zhilei, Lan Yingying, Wang Yutian and Xu Yang. The movie centers on a group of members of a unit of the China Rescue & Salvage (CRS), a division of the Chinese Coast Guard, who are forced to overcome their personal differences to resolve a crisis. The drama, which was originally set to be released earlier this year, is opening in Chinese and select U.S. theaters this weekend.
