Premiering on Friday, November 1, is the Netflix original movie American Son directed by Kenny Leon and starring Kerry Washington, Steven Pasquale, Jeremy Jordan and Eugene Lee. The drama, which is based on Christopher Demos-Brown’s play about an interracial couple whose 19-year-old son may have died at the hands of police, premiered at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Also premiering on Friday is the Apple TV+ original series Dickinson created by Alena Smith and starring Hailee Steinfeld, Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt and Adrian Enscoe.
