Mateo Messina (Juno, Blockers, Superstore) is composing the original score for the upcoming Netflix original movie The Wrong Missy. The film is directed by Tyler Spindel (Father of the Year) and stars David Spade, Lauren Lapkus, Geoff Pierson, Sarah Chalke, Nick Swardson, Jackie Sandler, Chris Witaske  and Molly Sims. The comedy follows a man who meets his dream girl and invites her to his company’s corporate retreat. When a crazy blind date from his past shows up for the weekend getaway, he learns too late that he’s been accidentally texting the wrong girl. Chris Pappas (The Do-Over) & Kevin Barnett (Hall Pass) wrote the screenplay. Adam Sandler is producing the project through his Happy Madison Productions company, alongside Allen Covert (Murder Mystery, Pixels), Barry Bernardi (Paul Blart: Mall Cop), Kevin Grady (The Do-Over), and Judit Maull. The Wrong Missy is currently in post-production. No release date has been announced yet.

As previously announced, Messina’s other upcoming projects also include the Netflix movie Tall Girl and the CBS All Access original series Why Women Kill (to premiere on August 15).
