Deadline is reporting that Bo Burnham is contributing original songs to the upcoming Sesame Street movie. The film directed by Jonathan Krisel and is set to star Anne Hathaway. The movie follows Bird and his Sesame Street friends as they are are mysteriously expelled from their neighborhood and find themselves in Manhattan. Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Real Steel) and Michael Aguilar (What Happens in Vegas, Kidding) are producing the project. Burnham who directed last year’s Eighth Grade started his career as performing original songs on YouTube. Sesame Street is scheduled to be released on January 15, 2021 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
