Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC mini-series The Cry. The album features the original music from the 4-parter composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Home, The Lego Batman Movie, The Crown, Genius, Terminator Genisys). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 5 and will be available to download on Amazon. The Cry is written by Jacquelin Perske based on the novel by Helen FitzGeralda and stars Jenna Coleman, Ewen Leslie, Stella Gonet, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Asher Keddie, Alex Dimitriades, Markella Kavenagh and Shareena Clanton. The series directed by Glendyn Ivin and produced by Synchronicity Films revolves around a couple who travel from Scotland to Australia to fight for custody of the husband’s daughter. The drama premiered this past Sunday in the UK on BBC One and is set air this fall in Australia on ABC. No word yet on a domestic premiere date.
