WaterTower Music has released the theme from James Gunn’s upcoming superhero movie Superman as featured in the film’s latest trailer. The track written by the project’s composers John Murphy (28 Days Later, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Sunshine, The Suicide Squad) & David Fleming (The Last of Us, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Damsel, Jim Henson: Idea Man) and incorporating John Williams’ classic theme from Richard Donner’s 1978 feature is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the full track and check out the new trailer after the jump. The label has previously released Murphy’s music from the first teaser trailer last December. Superman is written and directed by Gunn and stars David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult,Anthony Carrigan, Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, María Gabriela de Faría and Skyler Gisondo. The DC Studios production will be released in theaters nationwide on July 11, 2025 by Warner Bros. Pictures
