Dragon’s Domain Records has released a new soundtrack album for the 1967 war drama Battle of Neretva co-written and directed by Veljko Bulajićv and starring Yul Brynner, Sergei Bondarchuk, Curd Jürgens, Hardy Krüger, Sylva Koscina, Franco Nero and Orson Welles. The album features the newly remastered original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Bernard Herrmann (Psycho, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Citizen Kane, The Day the Earth Stood Still, MarnieTaxi DriverObsession) and performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The limited edition CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples.

The label has also announced a remastered version of the soundtrack album for the 1970 war drama Too Late the Hero co-written and directed by Robert Aldrich and starring Michael Caine, Cliff Robertson, Ian Bannen, Ronald Fraser, Harry Andrews, Ken Takakura, Denholm Elliott and Henry Fonda. The album featuring the film’s original music composed and conducted by Gerald Fried (Star Trek: The Original SeriesRoots,  The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, Gilligan’s Island) is also available to order on Dragon’s Domain/BSX Records’ website, where you can find out more about the release.
