Dan Romer has recently scored the upcoming sci-fi romance Zoe. The film is directed by Drake Doremus (Like Crazy, Breathe In, Equals) and stars Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Christina Aguilera, Rashida Jones, Theo James and Miranda Otto. The movie follows two colleagues at a revolutionary research lab who design technology to improve and perfect romantic relationships. Richard Greenberg (The Beauty Inside) has written the screenplay. Doremus is also producing the project with Kevin Walsh (Manchester by the Sea, All the Money in the World), Michael Pruss and Robert George. Ridley Scott serves as an executive producer. Zoe will premiere as the opening night film in April as the Centerpiece Gala of the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.

Romer (Beasts of the Southern Wild, Beasts of No Nation, Digging for Fire) also continues to score ABC’s The Good Doctor, which currently airs every Monday night and has recently been renewed for a second season, as well as Netflix’s Atypical, which will return for its second season later this year. His other upcoming feature projects include the William H. Macy-directed Krystal starring Nick Robinson.
