Tamar-kali (Mudbound) is composing the music for the upcoming drama Come Sunday. The film is directed by Joshua Marston (Maria Full of Grace, Complete Unknown) and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Condola Rashad, Jason Segel, Lakeith Stanfield and Martin Sheen. The movie revolves around the internationally-renowned pastor Carlton Pearson as he risks his church, family and future when he questions church doctrine and finds himself branded a modern-day heretic. Marcus Hinchey (All Good Things) wrote the screenplay. Ira Glass (Don’t Think Twice, Sleepwalk with Me), Alissa Shipp & James D. Stern (Looper, I’m Not There.) and Julie Goldstein (Freeheld, Army of One) are producing the project. Marc Streitenfeld was originally attached to score the movie. Come Sunday just premiered at the Sundance Film Festival (with a temporary score) and will be available to stream on Netflix this April. (The Hollywood Reporter)
