‘Lady Bird’ Soundtrack Details

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for Greta Gerwig’s comedy Lady Bird. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jon Brion (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, MagnoliaParanormanI Heart Huckabees, Trainwreck). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 10 (click here to pre-order) and physically next month. Visit Amazon to order the CD version. Lady Bird marks the directorial debut Gerwig and stars Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, Beanie Feldstein, Lucas Hedges and Timothée Chalamet. The movie revolves around a rebellious young woman who navigates the pressures and constraints of Catholic school and life in Sacremento. The comedy was released in select theaters this past weekend by A24 before expanding to more markets over the next couple of weeks. Visit the official movie website for more information.

    What is the song the church choir is singing at the end of the movie? It was beautiful.

      i thought so too! i searched for it for ages and i think its Rosa Mystica- The university of nortre dame folk choir.

    The best song was after Thanksgiving when they go to the coffee shop to hear the band play. The lyrics go “I’m not easy A, honest…”
    WHO is that band? WHAT is that song called???

      it really is the best tune in the movie, it has this chill and indie vibe. however i’ve read an article about how Adam Brock was involved in the Thanksgiving band scene and i’ve looked up on the credit roll, it seems like the song title is ‘Fred Astaire’. Hope this helps!
