Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack for the Black Mirror episode San Junipero. The album features the episode’s original music composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Noah). The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 2, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. San Junipero is directed by Owen Harris, written by Charlie Brooker and stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mackenzie Davis and Denise Burse. The episode takes place in a seaside town in 1987 and follows a shy young woman and an outgoing party girl who strike up a powerful bond that seems to defy the laws of space and time. The third season of Black Mirror is now available to stream on Netflix. Other scores from the recent season that have been released include Nosedive (Max Richter), Men Against Fire (Ben Salisbury & Geoff Barrow) and Hated in the Nation (Martin Phipps).
