Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the action adventure comedy Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) (Mad Max: Fury Road, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Deadpool, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Godzilla vs. Kong, Alita: Battle Angel) who previously composed the music for the first and second installment. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 20 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released Ruwanga Samath’s It’s a Sonic Christmas as a digital single last week, while Republic Records has released Jelly Roll’s original song Run It from the movie last month. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is directed by Jeff Fowler and stars Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz James Marsden, Keanu Reeves, Idris Elba, Tika Sumpter, Krysten Ritter, Lee Majdoub, Adam Pally, Natasha Rothwell and Shemar Moore. The sequel, which follows Sonic, Knuckles & Tails as they reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before, is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Paramount Pictures.

Will there be a CD release?
There usually will be. We had a CD soundtrack of the other two. Check back a few weeks after the film’s release and i’m sure they’d publish it, especially since the new film is doing really well.
