MoviesScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the faith-based drama The Hopeful. The album features the film’s original score composed by Blake Anderson. Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Jonas Myrin has contributed the original songs to the movie. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Ian Arber (Medici, The Capture, My Name Is LennyThe Chelsea Detective, The One, War of the Worlds) is the composer of the new ITV drama Red Eye. The show is written by Peter A Dowling (Flightplan, Black and Blue) and stars Jing Lusi, Richard Armitage, Lesley Sharp and Jemma Moore. The 6-part thriller directed by Kieron Hawkes (Piggy) follows three women who are thrown into the same life threatening conspiracy when a British doctor is arrested for murder on a red eye flight from London to Beijing. Premiering tonight is the HBO limited series The Sympathizer developed by Park Chan-wook & Don McKellar based on the book of the same name by Viet Thanh Nguyen and starring Hoa Xuande, Robert Downey Jr., Fred Nguyen Khan, Vy Le, Toan Le, Ky Duyen, Phanxine, Kieu Chinh, Duy Nguyen, Alan Trong and Sandra Oh. Cho Young-wuk (OldboyLady Vengeance, The Little Drummer Girl, The Handmaiden, Decision to Leave, Thirst) has composed the show’s original music. Premiering on Wednesday, April 17, is the Hulu limited series Under the Bridge developed by Quinn Shephard based on the true-crime book of the same title by Rebecca Godfrey and starring Riley Keough, Lily Gladstone, Vritika Gupta, Izzy G., Chloe Guidry, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Ezra Faroque Khan, Aiyana Goodfellow and Archie Panjabi. Netflix Music has released the first soundtrack album for the Turkish Netflix original series As The Crow Flies (Kuş Uçuşu). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Toygar Işıklı (Family Secrets, Son, Endless Love, Babil). The show is based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same title and stars Hoa Xuande, Robert Downey Jr., Fred Nguyen Khan, Toan Le, Vy Le, Phanxine, Ky Duyen, Kieu Chinh, Alan Trong, Duy Nguyen and Sandra Oh. The 7-parter centers on the struggles of a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy during the final days of the Vietnam War and his new life as a refugee in Los Angeles, where he learns that his spying days aren’t over. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the dystopian war drama Civil War written and directed by Alex Garland and starring Kirsten Dunst, Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura, Nick Offerman and Stephen McKinley Henderson.
