Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:

Opening in most theaters is the superhero movie Shazam! directed by David F. Sandberg and starring Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Asher Angel, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Faithe Herman, Cooper Andrews and Marta Milans. The film’s original music is composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (ItBlade Runner 2049Hidden Figures). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the horror thriller Pet Sematary directed by Kevin Kölsch & Dennis Widmyer and starring Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, John Lithgow. Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3HellraiserThe Exorcism of Emily RoseDrag Me to HellGhost Rider) has composed the film’s original music. Paramount Music has released soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Starcrawler’s cover of the Ramones’ title song, which plays over the movie’s end credits. Also opening nationwide is the drama The Best of Enemies written and directed by Robin Bissell and starring Taraji P. Henson, Sam Rockwell, Babou Ceesay, Anne Heche, Wes Bentley, Nick Searcy, John Gallagher Jr. and Bruce McGill. The film’s original music is composed by Marcelo Zarvos (FencesWonderThe AffairThe Good ShepherdEnough Said). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening in limited release is the sci-fi drama High Life co-written and directed by Claire Denis and starring Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche, Mia Goth and André Benjamin. Stuart A. Staples (White MaterialBastards) has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score, as well as the original song Willow written by Staples and performed by Tindersticks feat. Pattinson. Also opening in select U.S. theaters is the period drama Peterloo written and directed by Mike Leigh and starring Rory Kinnear, Maxine Peake, Neil Bell, Philip Jackson, Vincent Franklin, Karl Johnson and Tim McInnerny. The film’s original music is composed by Gary Yershon (Mr. TurnerHappy-Go-LuckyAnother Year). Dubois Records has released a soundtrack EP featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened overseas. Also opening in limited release is the drama The Public written and directed by Emilio Estevez and starring Estevez himself, Alec Baldwin, Christian Slater, Michael K. Williams, Jena Malone, Taylor Schilling,  Gabrielle Union, Jacob Vargas, Jeffrey Wright and Che “Rhymefest” Smith.  Tyler Bates (Guardians of the GalaxyDeadpool 2300John WickDawn of the Dead) & Joanne Higginbottom (Samurai Jack) have composed the film’s original music. Also opening in select cities is the horror thriller The Wind directed by Emma Tammi and starring Caitlin Gerard, Julie Goldani Telles, Ashley Zuckerman, Miles Anderson and Dylan McTee. The film’s original music is composed by Ben Lovett (The SignalThe RitualBlack RockSynchronicity). Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score.
