mercyPremiering on Tuesday, November 22, on Netflix is the thriller Mercy written and directed by Chris Sparling and starring James Wolk, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Tom Lipinski, Dan Ziskie, Michael Godere, Michael Donovan, Dion Graham and Constance Baron. Phil Mossman (Cop CarAnother Earth, I OriginsLola Versus) has composed the film’s original music. gilmore-girlsPremiering on Friday, November 25, on Netflix is the revival series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life executive produced by Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino and starring Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, Scott Patterson, Liza Weil, Matt Czuchry, Keiko Agena, Sean Gunn, Yanic Truesdale, Melissa McCarthy, Todd Lowe, Danny Strong, Milo Ventimiglia and Michael Winters. The 4-parter’s original music is composed by Sam Phillips who previously scored all seven seasons of the original show. Jeanine Tesori has composed the score for a musical featured in the new season. good-behaviorMissing from last week’s roundup was the new TNT original series Good Behavior created by Chad Hodge and author Blake Crouch and starring Michelle Dockery, Juan Diego Botto, Terry Kinney and Lusia Strus. Charlie Clouser (SawWayward PinesResident Evil: ExtinctionNumb3rs) and Thomas Hass Christensen (Jo) have composed the original music for the show’s first season. The drama follows a thief and a con artist fresh out of prison who overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man’s wife and sets out to derail the job.
