Boyle has previously collaborated with the group on the 1996 drama Trainspotting, the sci-fi film Sunshine, as well the opening ceremony of last year’s Olympic Games in London. The director’s previous two movies (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) featured music by A.R. Rahman. Trance is set to be released on March 27, 2013 in the UK. Fox Searchlight will be distributing the film in the US and has yet to announce a release date.
