Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film The Electric State. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, Avengers: Endgame, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Predator, Cast Away, The Polar Express). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 7 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Electric State is directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Woody Harrelson, Woody Norman, Anthony Mackie and Brian Cox. The sci-fi adventure is set in the aftermath of a robot uprising in an alternate version of the ’90s and follows an orphaned teenager who ventures across the American West with a cartoon-inspired robot, a smuggler, and his sidekick in search of her younger brother. The film is opening in select theaters tomorrow and will premiere next Friday, March 14 on Netflix.
