Walt Disney Records has released Panic! at the Disco‘s end credits version of the original song Into the Unknown from Disney’s animated sequel Frozen 2. The track written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez is also featured in the movie in a version performed by Idina Menzel & Aurora. The song is now available to download as a digital single on Amazon. Also check out the official lyric video after the jump. Both versions of the song will be included on the movie’s official soundtrack album, which is set to be released on November 15.

‘Frozen 2’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Walt Disney Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for Disney Animation’s sequel Frozen 2. The album the original songs from the movie written by Academy Award winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez and performed the film’s voice cast, as well as three end credits songs by Panic! At The Disco, Kacey Musgraves and Weezer. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on November 15, 2019. The label will also release a separate album featuring Christophe Beck’s original score from the movie, as well as a digital deluxe edition featuring both songs and score on the same date. Alexandre Desplat Wins Academy Award for ‘The Shape of Water’
Alexandre Desplat was honored with his second Academy Award for his score for Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water at tonight’s 90th Oscar ceremony. The other nominated composers in the Best Original Score category were Jonny Greenwood (Phantom Thread), Hans Zimmer (Dunkirk), John Williams (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) and Carter Burwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri). The Music of ‘Coco’ Honored at 45th Annie Awards
Composers Michael Giacchino, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, Germaine Franco and co-director and lyricist Adrian Molina were honored in the Outstanding Achievement, Music in an Animated Feature Production category for the music from Pixar’s hit movie Coco. Giacchino, Franco and Molina accepted their award in person at tonight’s 45th Annie Awards at UCLA’s Royce Hall. The other contenders in the category were Theodore Shapiro for Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, Clint Mansell for Loving Vincent, Christophe Beck & Jeff Morrow for Disney’s Olaf’s Frozen Adventure and Mychael & Jeff Danna for The Breadwinner.

The other composers nominated in the Best Score category were Dario Marianelli for Darkest Hour, Benjamin Wallfisch & Hans Zimmer for Blade Runner 2049, John Williams for The Post, Hans Zimmer for Dunkirk and Jonny Greenwood for Phantom Thread.
Walt Disney Records to Release Soundtrack Album for Pixar’s ‘Coco’
Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Pixar animated feature Coco. Michael Giacchino (Star Trek, Lost, Jurassic World, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) who previously scored Pixar’s Up, Inside Out, The Incredibles, Ratatouille & Cars 2 is composing the film’s original score. Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez are contributing the original song Remember Me and Germaine Franco & the film’s co-director Adrian Molina have also written additional songs for the film. The soundtrack will be released on November 17, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
Pixar’s ‘Coco’ to Feature Score by Michael Giacchino & Song by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Bobby Lopez
It was announced today at Disney’s D23 Expo that Michael Giacchino will be providing the score for Pixar’s upcoming animated feature Coco. In addition, Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Bobby Lopez (Frozen) have written the original song Remember Me for the movie directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) & Adrian Molina and featuring the voices of Gael García Bernal, Anthony Gonzalez, Benjamin Bratt and Renée Victor. The movie follows Miguel who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz and finds himself in the Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. There will be also be additional additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco (Dope) and Molina.
Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez to Write Songs for Disney’s ‘Gigantic’
It was announced today at Disney’s D23 fan expo that Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez will be writing original music for Disney Toon Studios’ upcoming feature Gigantic. The film will be directed by Nathan Greno (Tangled) and produced by Dorothy McKim (Meet the Robinson). The movie is based on the Jack and the Beanstalk fairy tale is set in Spain during the Age of Exploration and follows Jack as he discovers a world of giants hidden within the clouds.
Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez to Write Original Musical Number for Oscars
Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris announced today on Twitter via a video message that Oscar-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are writing an original multimedia, musical sequence, Moving Pictures, which Harris will perform on at the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 22. The duo received their first Oscar in 2014 for the song Let It Go from Disney’s animated hit feature Frozen. The 87th Oscars are produced by Neil Meron and Craig Zadan and will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood. The show will be televised live on the ABC Television Network in the U.S. and in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
‘Frozen Fever’ to Feature New Song by Robert Lopez & Kristen Anderson-Lopez
Walt Disney Animation Studios announced last night that Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez are writing a new song for the upcoming animated short Frozen Fever. The film is directed by Jennifer Lee (Wreck-It-Ralph) and Chris Buck (Tarzan) who also helmed last year’s hit movie and takes place on Anna’s birthday, for which Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever. Peter Del Vecho (Frozen, The Princess and the Frog, Winnie the Pooh) is producing the project. Lopez and Anderson-Lopez have written all songs for 2013’s feature version and received their first Academy Award for the song Let It Go.
