La-La Land Records has announced a reissue of the premiere soundtrack album for the 1985 mystery comedy Clue written and directed by Jonathan Lynn and starring Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Martin Mull, Michael McKean and Lesley Ann Warren. The CD features the film’s original music composed and conducted by John Morris (Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, Dirty Dancing, Young Frankenstein, The Elephant Man, The Producers, The In-Laws, Life Stinks). The 40th Anniversary Edition, which is limited to 1,000 copies, features new art design and a new note from Lynn and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the track list and find out more about the soundtrack.

‘Lolita’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released
Pathé Films has released a digital version of the (expanded) soundtrack album for the 1997 film adaptation of Vladmir Nabokov’s novel Lolita directed by Adrianne Lyne and starring Jeremy Irons. Dominique Swain, Melanie Griffith and Frank Langella. The album features the film’s original music composed, orchestrated and conducted by Academy Award winner Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, The Hateful Eight, The Untouchables, Once Upon a Time in America, Cinema Paradiso). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services.
Marco Beltrami Scoring Adrian Lyne’s ‘Deep Water’
Marco Beltrami (Logan, Scream, A Quiet Place, 3:10 to Yuma, Ford v Ferrari, The Wolverine, The Hurt Locker) has recently scored the new psychological thriller Deep Water. The film is directed by Adrian Lyne (Fatal Attraction, Indecent Proposal, Unfaithful) and stars Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas, Tracy Letts, Lil Rel Howery, Dash Mihok, Finn Wittrock, Jacob Elordi, Rachel Blanchard, Kristen Connolly, Jade Fernandez, Grace Jenkins, Michael Braun, Brendan C. Miller and Devyn Tyler. The movie is based on the novel of the same title by Patricia Highsmith and revolves around a married couple whose mind games with each other take a twisted turn when people around them start turning up dead.
Expanded ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1990 horror thriller Jacob’s Ladder directed by Adrian Lyne and starring Tim Robbins, Elizabeth Peña and Danny Aiello. The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the movie composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Maurice Jarre (Lawrence of Arabia, Ghost, Witness, Gorillas in the Mist). The 2-CD set, which is limited to 2,000 copies, features a remastered version of the original 1990 soundtrack album (released by Varese Sarabande) on the first disc, and the complete score, as well as unused cues on the second disc.
