The details of the soundtrack album for the Cannes Edition soundtrack album for Leos Carax’s musical drama Annette have been revealed. The album features selections of the the music from the film written by legendary art-pop duo Sparks (Ron and Russell Mael), lyrics co-written by the band and Carax, and performed by Sparks and the cast of the movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally in the U.S. on August 6 by Milan Records and will be available to stream/download here. A vinyl edition of the soundtrack is set to come out on August 27, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version (to be released overseas next month) is available to order as an import here. Two songs featured on the Cannes Edition (So May We Start & We Love Each Other So Much) are already available to stream/download now. The full details of the score album for F9, the ninth installment in the Fast & Furious series, have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me, Thor: The Dark World, Yellowstone) who previously scored the third, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth part in the series. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 2 by Back Lot Music and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Atlantic Records has previously released a separate album featuring the songs from the movie earlier this month. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, Hitch, The Blue Planet, Anna and the King, Ever After).
