Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, July 5, is the British series The Beast Must Die developed by Gaby Chiappe based on the novel of the same title by Nicholas Blake and starring Jared Harris, Cush Jumbo OBE, Nathaniel Parker, Billy Howle and Geraldine James. The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, Disobedience, Temple, The Cave, Noughts + Crosses). Accidental Editions has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past May when the drama premiered in the UK on BritBox. Premiering on Wednesday, July 7, is the Disney+ original series Monsters at Work developed by Bobs Gannaway based on Pixar’s feature Monsters, Inc. and starring Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Jennifer Tilly, John Ratzenberger, Bonnie Hunt, Ben Feldman, Henry Winkler, Mindy Kalling, Lucas Neff and Alanna Ubac. Dominic Lewis (The Man in the High Castle, Peter Rabbit, DuckTales, Free Birds, Money Monster) is composing the show’s original music. Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is the animated feature The Boss Baby: Family Business directed by Tom McGrath and starring Alec Baldwin, Jeff Goldblum, Ariana Greenblatt, Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy Kimmel, Eva Longoria, James Marsden and Amy Sedaris.
