Jon Ekstrand and Rebekka Karijord are reuniting to co-score the upcoming thriller All the Old Knives. The film is directed by Janus Metz (ZeroZeroZero, Armadillo) and stars Chris Pine, Thandiwe Newton, Jonathan Pryce and Laurence Fishburne. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Olen Steinhauer (Berlin Station) and revolves around two  ex-lovers – one a CIA spy, the other an ex-spy – who meet over dinner to reminisce on their time together at Vienna station, when their conversation moves to the disastrous hijacking of Royal Jordanian Flight 127. A24 Music has released Suzanna Son‘s rendition of NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye from Sean Baker’s comedy drama Red Rocket. The track performed by the actress who stars as high schooler Strawberry in the movie is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) and can also be checked out below. Red Rocket is co-written and directed by Baker and also stars Simon Rex, Bree Elrod, Brenda Deiss, Ethan Darbone, Brittney Rodriguez and Judy Hill. The movie follows a washed up porn star who walks back into his oil refinery hometown of Texas City for a fresh start and sees an opportunity for redemption when he meets Son’s character. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1981 ABC miniseres Masada directed by Boris Sagal and starring Peter O’Toole, Peter Strauss, Barbara Carrera, Anthony Quayle, David Warner and Paul L. Smith . The 4-CD set features the show’s complete original music composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Planet of the Apes, Chinatown, Patton, Papillon, Basic Instinct, Total Recall, L.A. Confidential) who scored the first two episodes and Morton Stevens (Hawaii Five-O, Hardly Working, One Man Jury) who scored the third and fourth episodes. The album features a selection of songs from the show’s fifth and final season by artists such as Raedio, Saweetie, Jesse Boykins III, Duckwrth, Ambré, Mack Keane, ESTA, Josh Levi & others. Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (The Forgotten Battle, Censor, Rocks, Only You) has recently been recording her score for the upcoming British drama Living. The film is directed by Oliver Hermanus (Moffie, Beauty) and stars Bill Nighy, Alex Sharp, Tom Burke and Aimee Lou Wood. The movie is set in 1950s London and tells the story of a veteran civil servant who becomes a cog in the bureaucracy of rebuilding post WWII England, when he learns he has only seven months to live.
