The movie is based on the second novel of Gregory Mcdonald’s 1970s mystery novel series (which has previously been adapted into the Harold-Faltermeyer-scored 80s features Fletch & Fletch Lives) and stars Jon Hamm, Marcia Gay Harden, Kyle MacLachlan, Roy Wood Jr., John Slattery, Annie Mumolo, Ayden Mayeri and Lorenza Izzo. Sacred Bones Records will release a soundtrack album for the crime drama Ted K. The album features the film’s original score composed by Blanck Mass (Calm with Horses). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 18, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Montana (Main Theme)) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. A vinyl edition is also expected. Ted K is co-written and directed by Tony Stone and stars Sharlto Copley, Drew Powell, Amber Rose Mason, Tahmus Rounds, Travis Bruyer and Christian Calloway. Jon Ekstrand has signed on to score the upcoming biographical drama Hilma. The film is written and directed by Hallström (The Cider House Rules, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape) and stars Lena Olin, Tora Hallström, Lily Cole, Rebecca Calder, Maeve Dermody and Catherine Chalk. The movie explores the life of Swedish artist and feminist pioneer Hilma af Klint who navigated through a male-dominated artistic scene to eventually become one of the Western world’s first abstract artists. ‘Hollywood Bowl 2022 Season Schedule Announced’

hollywood-bowlThe Hollywood Bowl has announced this summer’s season schedule, which includes a number of film music concerts. On June 30, CineConcerts will present Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in Concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic performing Alexandre Desplat’s score live-to-picture (click here for more details). On August 5 & 6, David Newman will conduct the LA Philharmonic for two live-to-picture concerts of Alan Silvestri’s score for Back to the Future (click here for more information). On July 24, Craig Robinson will host Black Movie Soundtrack IV with Orchestra, the fourth installation of the concert series curated by Reginald Hudlin and Marcus Miller (visit the Bowl’s website for more details). John Williams will also return to the Bowl on September 2, 3 & 4 for the concert Maestro of the Movies – Celebrating John Williams at 90. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second, third and fourth seasons composed by Ronit Kirchman (Eagle Eye, Limetown). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Spiral) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 back in 2018.
