The full details of the new soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Picard have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery, Fargo, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Lucy in the Sky). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 29 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon any other major digital music platforms. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 back in 2020. Decca Records will release the official soundtrack album for the drama Downton Abbey: A New Era. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner John Lunn (The Last Kingdom, Jamestown, Grantchester, Shetland, Belgravia) who previously scored the first Downton Abbey movie and all episodes of the TV series and recorded his score with the Chamber Orchestra of London. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 29 and will be available to stream/download here. A CD version is available to order as an import on Amazon.
