The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Purple Hearts have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the movie co-written and performed by Sofia Carson (who also stars in the lead role). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 29 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download here. A first song (Come Back Home) has already been released earlier this month. Purple Hearts is directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum and also stars Nicholas Galitzine, Chosen Jacobs, Linden Ashby, Kat Cunning, Anthony Ippolito and John Harlan Kim. The romantic drama follows an aspiring musician who agrees to a marriage of convenience with a soon-to-deploy Marine, but a tragedy soon turns their fake relationship all too real. The album features the film’s original score composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon, Ender’s Game, The Island, Skyscraper, Desperate Housewives). Also included is the song Count On Me written and produced by Jeremy Silver and performed by Jac Ross. Back Lot Music has released the first two track from the soundtrack for Rob Zombie‘s The Munsters remake. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services are It’s Zombo (The Zombo Theme) and The House of Zombo written by Zombie and the film’s composer Zeuss and featuring performances by Rob & Sheri Moon Zombie and Jeff Daniel Phillips (who stars in the movie as Herman). Michael Giacchino to Score Brad Bird’s ‘Ray Gunn’

Brad Bird has confirmed in recent interview with THR that Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Batman, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jurassic World, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) will compose the original music for the director’s next animated feature, Ray Gunn. The movie is being described as a “detective film in an alternate future” and has been in development since 1990s. Bird (The Iron Giant) co-wrote the original screenplay with Matthew Robbins (Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, Mimic). Lasseter (Toy Story, Cars), David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation) and Dana Goldberg (The Old Guard, The Tomorrow War) are producing the project for Skydance Animation.
