Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime thriller Caught Stealing directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Liev Schreiber, Matt Smith, Vincent D’Onofrio, Carol Kane, Benito A Martínez Ocasio and Griffin Dunne. The album features the film’s original score is composed by Rob Simonsen (Deadpool & Wolverine, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, It Ends with Us, The Way Back, Foxcatcher, The Age of Adaline, Nerve, (500) Days of Summer) and performed the post-punk band Idles who also contributed several original songs to the project. has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs today. Also opening wide is the comedy The Roses directed by Jay Roach and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Andy Samberg, Belinda Bromilow, Allison Janney, Sunita Mani, Jamie Demetriou, Ncuti Gatwa, Zoë Chao and Kate McKinnon. Theodore Shapiro (Severance, The Devil Wears Prada, Tropic Thunder, Ghostbusters, A Simple Favor, Bombshell, Spy) has composed the film’s original music. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two covers performed by Susanna Hoffs, Rufus Wainwright & Eric D. Johnson last Friday.
