Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary 2000 Meters to Andriivka. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sam Slater (Battlefield 2042). The show is written and directed by Hagai Levi (The Affair, Scenes from a Marriage) and stars Julia Windischbauer, Sebastian Koch, Leopold Witte, Gijs Naber, Claire Bender and Evgenia Dodina. The 6-part drama tells the true story of Dutch Jewish writer Etty Hillesum in Nazi-occupied Amsterdam, from 1941 until her death in Auschwitz in 1943, and chronicles her spiritual awakening. The full details of the second score album for the Netflix original series Wednesday have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the final four episodes of Season 2 composed by Chris Bacon (Heretic, Source Code, Bates Motel, M3GAN 2.0, Men in Black: International, Gnomeo & Juliet). The Volume 2 soundtrack will be released digitally this Wednesday, September 3 by Milan Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released the first volume last month and will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the covers from Season 2 on Wednesday. Danny Elfman’s & Bacon’s score from Season 1 was released in 2023 by Lakeshore Records. Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the FX original series Alien: Earth. The album features the original music from the fifth episode of the show (entitled In Space, No One…) composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery/Picard, Legion, Ripley, Untamed, For All Mankind, The Night Of, Zero Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 2 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1977 action thriller Black Sunday directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Robert Shaw, Bruce Dern, Marthe Keller, Bekim Fehmiu and Fritz Weaver. The album features the newly remastered original score composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List).
