Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the comedy Ella McCay written and directed by James L. Brooks and starring Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Albert Brooks, Ayo Edebiri, Rebecca Hall, Spike Fearn, Joey Brooks, Julie Kavner, Becky Ann Baker, and Woody Harrelson. The film’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (Interstellar, The Dark Knight,The Lion King, Inception, Gladiator, Dune, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening wide is the horror thriller Dust Bunny written and directed by Bryan Fuller and starring Mads Mikkelsen, Sigourney Weaver, Sophie Sloan, David Dastmalchian and Sheila Atim. Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires Everywhere, Lisa Frankenstein,  Lady Chatterley’s Lover, KAOS, Physical, The Offer, Hitpig!) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be released in the coming weeks by Lakeshore Records. ‘Landman’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released

Universal Music Group Nashville has released a new soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Landman. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second seasson composed by Andrew Lockington (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Mayor of Kingstown, Rampage, Lioness, Atlas, Frontier). The Vol. II soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s first track after the jump. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 last year, as well as a separate album featuring songs from and inspired by the drama. Composer and electronic recording artist Blanck Mass (aka Benjamin John Power) (Calm with Horses, She Rides Shotgun, The Rig, Ted K, Gazza) has recently scored the upcoming thriller Crime 101. The film is written and directed by Bart Layton (American Animals, The Imposter) and stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Corey Hawkins, Nick Nolte and Halle Berry. The movie based on the novella of the same title by Don Winslow revolves around an elusive thief whose high-stakes heists unfolding along the iconic 101 freeway in Los Angeles have mystified police and whose path collides with a disillusioned insurance broker who is facing her own crossroads, forcing the two to collaborate. The album features the Neil Diamond songs from the movie produced by the film’s executive music producer and composer Scott Bomar and performed by lead actors Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson.
