Premiering on Wednesday, February 21, is the Apple TV+ original series Constellation created by Peter Harness and starring Noomi Rapace, Jonathan Banks, James D’Arcy, Julian Looman, William Catlett, Barbara Sukowa, Rosie Coleman and Davina Coleman. The show’s original music is composed by Ben Salisbury (Ex Machina, Devs, Annihilation, Archive 81, Luce) and Suvi-Eeva Äikäs (Matriarch, Baghead, Hanna). A soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score will be announced soon. Also premiering on Wednesday is the Apple TV+ documentary series Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend executive produced by Tim Pastore, Patrick Milling Smith, Matt Renner,Brian Carmody, Jenna Millman and Juan Camilo Cruz. Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, The Accountant, A River Runs Through It, Miracle, Warrior, Judas and the Black Messiah, The Black Daliah, The Cooler) has composed the show’s original music. Daniel Pemberton & Metro Boomin Win Annie Award for ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’

Daniel Pemberton & Metro Boomin were honored with their first Annie Award in Feature category for their music from Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse at tonight’s 51st Annie Awards ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Pemberton composed the movie’s score, while Metro Boomin served as the executive producer of the film’s soundtrack, which was released by Republic Records. Pemberton’s score was released by Sony Classical. The other contenders in the category were Thomas Newman for Elemental, Kazuma Jinnouchi & RADWIMPS for Suzume, Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Joe Hisaishi for The Boy and the Heron. ‘A Soweto Love Story’ Soundtrack EP Released

Netflix Music has released a soundtrack EP for the South African Netflix original film A Soweto Love Story. The 6-track EP features three tracks performed by the Afrikariz Choir, as well as three songs from the movie performed by Didintle Khunou. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to all six tracks below. A Soweto Love Story is directed by Rolie Nikiwe and stars Lunga Shabalala, Duduzile Ngcobo, Zenzelisphesihle Sparky Xulu, Ray Neo Buso, Motsoaledi Setumo and Mamodibe Ramodibe . The comedy follows a mother who is desperate for her three single sons to get married and promises her house to the first one to tie the knot, setting off a race to the altar. Already playing in theaters nationwide since this past Wednesday is the biographical drama Bob Marley: One Love co-written and directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and starring Kingsley Ben-Adir, Lashana Lynch, Tosin Cole, James Norton, Anthony Welsh, Umi Myers, Aston Barrett Jr, Nia Ashi and Anna-Sharé Blake. The film’s original score is composed by Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, Green Book, Haunted Mansion, King Richard, Secret Invasion, The Color Purple). Tuff Gong & Island Records  have released a soundtrack album featuring the Bob Marley (& The Wailers) songs from the movie last Friday (click here for the full album details) and a separate EP featuring covers of Marley songs inspired by the movie on Wednesday (click here for more information).

Also already playing wide since Wednesday is the superhero movie Madame Web co-written and directed by S.J. Clarkson and starring Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced,Celeste O’Connor, Tahar Rahim, Mike Epps, Adam Scott and Emma Roberts. Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Kon-Tiki, Anatomy of a Scandal, Battlefield V, In a Better World, After the Wedding, Things We Lost in the Fire) has composed the film’s original music. Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on Wednesday. Anna Drubich (Barbarian, Fear Street Part 3: 1666, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Werewolves Within) has composed the original score for the upcoming Australian horror thriller Sting. The film is written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, Nektrotonic) and stars Ryan Corr, Alyla Browne, Penelope Mitchell, Noni Hazelhurst, Robyn Nevin, Danny Kim, Silvia Colloca and Jermaine Fowler. The movie follows a 12-year-old girl who raises an unnervingly talented spider in secret and must fight for her family’s survival when the creature rapidly transforms into a giant, flesh-eating monster. The track (originally written by Billy & Bobby Alessi) is performed by lead actors Ewan McGregor & Clara McGregor and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the British mystery comedy Wicked Little Letters. The album features the film’s original music composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, The Phantom of the Open, Emma, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, Roar, Vita & Virginia, Munich: The Edge of War). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, February 23 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Rose Runs) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. Wicked Little Letters is directed by Thea Sharrock and stars Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley, Anjana Vasan and Timothy Spall. The movie centers on two neighbors who get on each other’s nerves in a small English seaside town in the 1920s, where residents start receiving anonymous letters, igniting a scandal in their community.
