Silva Screen Records has announced a digital version of the soundtrack album for Hammer Films’ 1968 horror feature The Devil Rides Out directed by Terence Fisher and starring Christopher Lee, Niké Arrighi, Charles Gray and Leon Greene. The album features the film’s original music composed by James Bernard (The Curse of Frankenstein, Dracula, Taste the Blood of Dracula, Windom’s Way). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 11 and will be available to stream/download here. Robbie Robertson has passed away today at age 80. The songwriter, composer and guitarist who was best known as a member of the rock group The Band and his solo records has worked on numerous films directed by Martin Scorsese over the last couple of decades. He has scored the director’s 1986 feature The Color of Money, as well as his last two movies, 2019’s The Irishman and the upcoming Killers of the Flower Moon, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in theaters on October 6.
