A.R. Rahman’s ‘Raayan’ Score Released

Sun Pictures has released a score album for the Indian neo-noir action thriller Raayan. The album features the film’s original “background” score composed by Academy Award winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Lagaan, Couples Retreat, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Blinded by the Light, Viceroy’s House). A separate EP featuring the songs from the movie was released this past July. Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Disney+ animated short An Almost Christmas Story. The 5-track EP features the holiday songs from the film written by Daniel Hart (The Green Knight, Pete’s Dragon, Interview with the Vampire, A Ghost Story, The Old Man and the Gun), including the original tracks It’s Christmas Today & The Spirit of Christmas (both previously released as a digital single), as well as Ar Fa La La Lo, In the Bleak Midwinter & The Holly and the Ivy arranged by Hart and performed by John C.
