Sky Music will release a soundtrack album for the Sky/Peacock original limited series Lockerbie: A Search for Truth. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Rupert Gregson-Williams (Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Hacksaw Ridge, Over the Hedge, The Legend of Tarzan, The Perfect Couple, Smallfoot, Hotel Rwanda). Tim Rice (The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Road to El Dorado) has revealed in a recent interview with The Irish News that he is co-writing new original songs for the upcoming film adaptation of the stage musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Andrew Lloyd Webber (The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita). Jon M. Chu (Wicked, Crazy Rich Asians) is attached to direct the movie based on the duo’s Tony Award-winning show, which tells the biblical story of Jacob’s favorite son Joseph and his eleven brothers and which premiered in the West End in 1972 and on Broadway in 1983. Scott Sanders (The Color Purple, The Odd Life of Timothy Green) and Mara Jacobs (In the Heights) are producing the project for SGS Pictures and Chu and Lance Johnson (Thai Cave Rescue) are producing for Electric Somewhere.
