Craig Wedren has been hired to score the new NBC comedy A to Z. The show is created by Ben Queen (Drive, Cars 2) and stars Ben Feldman, Cristin Milioti, Henry Zebrowski, Lenora Crichlow, Christina Kirk and Hong Chau. Katey Sagal is narrating the series, which follows the relationship between a male employee at an internet dating site and a female no-nonsense lawyer, from meeting to breakup. Queen is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television and Le Train Train production with Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), Will McCormack (Celeste & Jesse Forever), Bill Callahan (Psych) and Michael Patrick Jann (Reno 911!). ‘Love Is Strange’ Soundtrack Released

Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the indie drama Love Is Strange. The album features the classical pieces featured in the film composed by Frédéric Chopin, Arnold Schoenberg and Henryk Wieniawski. Also included is Nina Simone’s song That’s Him Over There. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Love Is Strange is directed by Ira Sachs and stars John Lithgow, Alfred Molina, Marisa Tomei, Darren Burrows, Charlie Tahan and Cheyenne Jackson. The movie follows a longtime couple who lose their New York home shortly after getting married. Movic Records will release a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Cantinflas. The album features three tracks from the film’s original score composed by Roque Banos (Evil Dead, Oldboy, The Machinist, Sexy Beast). Also included are the songs from the film by artists including Denise Gutiérrez, Aleks Syntek, Mauricio Sánchez, Enrique Bunbury & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 25, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Cantinflas is directed by Sebastian del Amo and stars Oscar Jaenada, Michael Imperioli, Ilse Salas, Luis Gerardo Mendez, Gabriela de la Garza, Adal Ramones and Ana Layevska. Jeff Russo and Ben Decter have been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama CSI: Cyber. The show is created by Anthony E. Zuiker, Carol Mendelsohn & Ann Donahue (CSI: Miami, CSI: NY) and stars Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek, Charley Koontz and Peter MacNicol. The series centers around Special Agent Avery Ryan who heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online and play out in the real world. ‘Frank’ Soundtrack Details

Silva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie comedy Frank. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephen Rennicks, as well as the songs performed by the film’s cast. The label has previously released the original song I Love You All performed by The Soronprfbs, which is also included on the soundtrack, as a single. Frank – Music and Songs from the Film will be released overseas on September 15, 2014. No domestic release date has been announced yet. Frank is directed by Lenny Abrahamson and stars Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Scoot McNairy. The movie follows a wannabe musician who joins an avant-garde pop band led by a musical genius who hides himself inside a large fake head. Rael Jones has recently composed the music for the upcoming drama Suite Francaise. The film is directed by Saul Dibb (The Duchess) and stars Michelle Williams, Matthias Schoenaerts, Kristin Scott Thomas, Margot Robbie, Sam Riley, Ruth Wilson, Alexandra Maria Lara, Tom Schilling and Lambert Wilson. The movie based on the works of Irène Némirovsky follows a young woman in Nazi-occupied France who ends up falling in love with a German officer. Happy Valley centers around the personal and professional life of hardworking, dedicated policewoman in a small town where alcoholics, drug addicts and pregnant teens are a way of life.
