The full details of the third and final soundtrack album for the sixth season of the Netflix original series Cobra Kai have been revealed. The album features the original music from the third part of the show’s sixth and final season composed by Emmy Award winners Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Twisted Metal, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Obliterated, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin). Varèse Sarabande and Craft Recordings have announced the first-ever vinyl release of the soundtrack album for the 1996 epic romantic drama The English Patient directed by Anthony Minghella and starring Ralph Fiennes, Juliette Binoche, Willem Dafoe, Kristin Scott Thomas, Colin Firth and Naveen Andrews. The 2-LP set features the film’s original music composed by Gabriel Yared (The Talented Mr. Ripley, Cold Mountain, Message in a Bottle, Betty Blue, 1408) who has received his first Academy Award for score, performed by the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields feat. pianist John Constable and vocalist Márta Sebestyén, and conducted by Harry Rabinowitz. Kris Bowers has received his first SCL Award in the Outstanding Original Score in a Studio Film category for his music from DreamWorks Animation’s The Wild Robot at tonight’s 6th Annual Society of Composers & Lyricists Awards. In the Outstanding Original Score for an Independent Film category, Daniel Blumberg has received the award for his Oscar-nominated score from Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist. In the Outstanding Original Song for Visual Media categories, Diane Warren was honored for her song The Journey (performed by H.E.R.) from the Netflix film The Six Triple Eight (drama category) and Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross & Luca Guadagnino won the award for the song Compress/Repress from Guadagnino’s Challengers (comedy/musical category).
