Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Belgian/Dutch crime comedy Gangstas (Patsers). The album features the film’s original original music composed by Hannes De Maeyer (Rebel, The Couple Next Door, Professor T, Torpedo, Patience, Noise, Rafaël, The Racer) who previously scored the original Gangsta movie. The soundtrack was released in Belgium and the Netherlands earlier this year and is now also available worldwide on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track below. Gangstas is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys for Life & Ride or Die) and stars Matteo Simoni, Nora Gharib, Junes Lazaar and Saïd Boumazoughe. The movie follows long-time friends Badia, Junes & Volt as they are torn between loyalty and survival, police pressure and gang violence, threatening to destroy their bond and chance at freedom. The comedy opened in Belgian and Dutch theaters this past February. No word yet on a domestic release.
