Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans have been hired to score the upcoming indie thriller Rosy. The film is directed by Jessica Manafort and stars Nat Wolff, Sky Ferreira and Stacy Martin. The movie follows a lonely guy who kidnaps a struggling actress named Rosy who proves more difficult for him to handle than ever expected. Jeff Cardoni has been tapped to score the upcoming CBS drama Training Day. The show is created by Will Beall (Gangster Squad) and stars Drew Van Acker, Bill Paxton, Katrina Law, Lex Scott Davis, Julie Benz, Justin Cornwell and Marianne Jean-Baptiste. The series is inspired by the 2001 feature starring Denzel Washington & Ethan Hawke and follows a young, idealistic police officer who goes undercover in the elite Special Investigation Section of the LAPD and is tasked with spying on his new partner, a seasoned detective who engages in questionable methods. ‘Family Guy’ Score Album Announced

La-La Land Records will release the world premiere score soundtrack album for the Fox animated hit series Family Guy. The album features selections from the original music from the show’s first four seasons composed by Walter Murphy (Ted, Ted 2, American Dad!) and Ron Jones (American Dad!, Duck Tales, Star Trek: The Next Generation). Family Guy: Movement I is limited to 5000 copies and will be available to order on June 21 on the label’s official website. The CD is also available to order on Amazon. Family Guy is created by Seth MacFarlane and features the voices of MacFarlane himself, as well as Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Lacey Chabert, Mila Kunis, Mike Henry and Patrick Warburton. Benjamin Wallfisch is currently scoring the upcoming supernatural horror thriller A Cure for Wellness. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Ring) and stars Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth, Jason Isaacs and Celia Imrie. The movie follows a man who is sent to rescue his boss from a European wellness spa and soon realizes that he’s trapped and discovers that the facility has a more sinister purpose than just serving the healthy needs of it patients. Justin Haythe (Revolutionary Road, The Lone Ranger) has written the screenplay. ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ Soundtrack Released

Rusted Wave has released a soundtrack album for David Wain’s 2001 cult comedy Wet Hot American Summer. The album features the film’s original music composed by Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder, St. Vincent) and Craig Wedren (School of Rock, Role Models). Also included are the songs from the film written by both composers, as well as Mr. Blue & Chubb Rock’s Summer in America, as well as Peter Salett’s end titles song. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes. A vinyl edition is set to be released on July 22, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Wet Hot American Summer is created by Wain and Michael Showalter who also stars in the film alongside Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Zak Orth, and A. Premiering tomorrow, June 13, is the new CBS drama BrainDead created by Robert & Michelle King and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aaron Tveit, Danny Pino, Nikki M. James and Tony Shalhoub. The show’s original music is composed by David Buckley (The Nice Guys, Jason Bourne, The Forbidden Kingdom, From Paris with Love) who previously scored CBS’ The Good Wife for the creators. Premiering on Tuesday, June 14, is the TNT original series Animal Kingdom developed by Jonathan Lisco based on the 2010 Australian feature of the same title and starring Ellen Barkin, Scott Speedman and Shawn Hatosy. Alexis & Sam (Equity, Lila & Eve, We’ll Never Have Paris) are scoring the show and Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Book of Eli) has composed the series’ main titles theme.
