Hollywood Records has released the original song Jeet Hai Hamari from the “Hollywood vs Bollywood” musical number of the second episode (What If… Agatha Went to Hollywood?) of the third season of Marvel Studios Animation’s Disney+ original series What If…?. The track written & produced by Gaayatri, Brandon Brown & Ishaan Chhabra and performed by Gaayatri & Benny Dayal is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The film is directed by Uta Briesewitz (The Wheel of Time) and stars Lili Reinhart, Daniela Melchior, Jeremy Ang Jones, Tim Plester, Josh Whitehouse, Christiane Paul and Joel Fry. The movie follows a young woman dealing with a chaotic personal life who finds herself sucked into the underbelly of the internet and – together with a motley group of coworkers – toils in a cottage industry of agencies that evaluate harmful videos and pictures uploaded to social media. Wendy Wang (American Born ChineseDoogie Kamealoha, M.D., Clipped, Man Up) has provided the original score for Onyx Collective’s new Hulu original series Deli Boys. The show is created by Abdullah Saeed (who also composed the series’ theme song), developed by Jenni Konner (Girls, Welcome to Chippendales) & Nora Silver (Single Drunk Female) and stars Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, Brian George and Alfie Fuller. The comedy follows a a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers who lose everything when their father suddenly dies and are forced to reckon with their his secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan & Milady, 3 Days to Kill, Lift,  The SpyExpend4bles, Happy!, NovemberThe Man with the Iron Heart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and most other major digital music services. The label has previously released an album featuring Roussel’s music from Season 1 back in 2022. Marie Antoinette is created by Deborah Davis and stars Emilia Schüle, Louis Cunningham, Freya Mavor, Jack Archer, Jasmine Blackborow, Crystal Shepherd-Cross, Oscar Lesage, Roxane Duran and Caroline Piette. Music Highlights from the 97th Academy Awards

The 97th Academy Awards ceremony was held last night. While none of the Oscar-nominated original songs were performed live, the show featured several other musical performance. Highlights include Cynthia Erivo’s & Ariana Grande’s performance of Defying Gravity from the Academy Award-nominated Wicked (as well as their rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow & Home),  a James Bond musical tribute featuring LISA, Doja Cat and RAYE performing the Bond theme songs Live and Let Die, Diamonds Are Forever & Skyfall, as well as Queen Latifah’s rendition of Ease on Down the Road from the musical The Wiz as a tribute to composer/music producer Quincy Jones who passed away last year. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Alexander Reumers (Boy 7, Sum of Histories, Don’t Shoot, Only You). Producer Cassian Elwes has confirmed in a recent conversation with Deadline that Danny Elfman (Batman, SpiderMan, Beetlejuice, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Men in BlackAlice in Wonderland) is set to score the upcoming hostage thriller Dead Man’s Wire. The film is directed by Gus Van Sant and stars Bill Skarsgard, Dacre Montgomery, Al Pacino, Kelly Lynch, Myha’la, Cary Elwes and Colman Domingo. The movie is based on a true story and follows a former real estate developer who takes the mortgage banker who did him wrong hostage, demanding $5 million and a personal apology. Premiering today is the MGM+ original series Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue created by Anthony Horowitz and starring Eric McCormack, David Ajala and Siobhán McSweeney. The show’s original music is composed by Chris Roe (Blue Jean, After Love, Trigger Point, Payback, Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo, WolfLancaster, Armstrong). The 6-part mystery thriller, which revolves around nine people who survive a plane crash into the Mexican jungle, but then begin to die in strange and violent ways and very soon they begin to realize that somebody wants them dead, will be available to stream exclusively on MGM+.

Premiering on Tuesday, March 4, is Marvel Television’s Disney+ original series Daredevil: Born Again developed by Dario Scardapane, Matt Corman & Chris Ord and starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Margarita Levieva, Elden Henson, Nikki James, Ayelet Zurer, Zabryna Guevara, Genneya Walton, Clark Johnson, Arty Froushan, Michael Gandolfini and Jon Bernthal.
