Silva Screen Records will release a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama Doctor Who. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s tenth season, as well as the 2016/2017 Christmas Specials The Return of Doctor Mysterio & Twice Upon a Time, composed by Murray Gold (Gentleman Jack, Torchwood, Death at a Funeral, Quiz, Shameless, It’s a Sin, Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil, A Very English Scandal). The soundtrack will be released digitally and as a 2-CD set on December 12. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. The horror thriller is set in rural New England and follows a woman marked by her first love’s death in a mountain tunnel who finds herself confronting a seductive and terrifying presence buried beneath the town. Electronic music producer Hainbach has released a soundtrack album for the German historical coming-of-age- drama Amrum. The album features the artist’s original music from the film and is now available to stream/download on Bandcamp, where you can also check out the track list. Amrum is co-written and directed by Fatih Akin and stars Jasper Billerbeck, Laura Tonke, Lisa Hagmeister, Kian Köppke and Diane Kruger. The movie follows a 12-year-old boy as he unravels a family secret in the final weeks of World War II on the titular secluded island, where the inhabitants feel the effects of the conflict but are far from the frontline, with little idea of what is going on.
