Hamburger Records has released a soundtrack album for the French Prime Video original series Escort Boys. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Guillaume Ferran (Marie-Line et son juge, Jusant). Escort Boys is directed by Ruben Alves and stars Guillaume Labbé, Thibaut Evrard, Corentin Fila and Simon Ehrlacher. The comedy drama, which is loosely based on the Israeli soap Johnny and the Knights of the Galilee, is set in Camargue and follows four men in dire straits who turn to escorting to save their childhood beekeeping estate, coached by the group’s little sister. John Powell has received his first Emmy Award for his score from Davis Guggenheim’s Apple TV+ original documentary Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Specialcategory at tonight’s second night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. Ludwig Göransson has received his first Golden Globe in the Original Score category for his score for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer at tonight’s 81st Golden Globe Awards ceremony. Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson have won their first Emmy Award for their score for The Roku Channel original movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie, or Special category at today’s first night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. Cristobal Tapia de Veer has picked up his third Emmy Award for his music from the Season 2 episode In the Sandbox from HBO’s The White Lotus in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category and Danny Elfman won the Emmy in the Original Main Title Theme Music category for Netflix’s Wednesday. Walter Murphy (Family Guy, Wiseguy, American Dad, The Late BloomerRaw Force) is returning to score the new Peacock original comedy event series Ted. The show is created by Seth MacFarlane (The Orville, A Million Ways to Die in the West) and stars MacFarlane himself (as the voice of Ted), Max Burkholder, Scott Grimes, Alanna Ubach and Giorgia Whigham. The prequel to the Murphy-scored 2012 & 2015 Ted features is set in 1993 and depicts of the early life of the titular character who is now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, John Bennett and his family. The show, which marks Skydance Animation’s first TV series, is based on the sci-fi fantasy novels by Tony DiTerlizzi (The Spiderwick Chronicles) and tells the coming-of-age story of a 16-year-old girl who goes on an epic journey with her robot caretaker and a cantankerous blue alien and learns that she might have the power to unite the world as she discovers fantastic civilizations.
