Raphaelle Thibaut (Secrets of the Whales, Heart of Invictus, Introducing, Selma Blair, Mama’s Boy) has recently recorded her score for Disneynature’s upcoming documentary Sea Lions of the Galapagos. The film is directed by Hugh Wilson, co-directed by Keith Scholey (Life on Our Planet, Penguins) and narrated by Brendan Fraser. The movie dives underwater with a sea lion pup whose lifelong quest to find his place in the world is fraught with challenges and filled with new encounters with an array of creatures, from marine iguanas and racer snakes to yellow fin tuna and huge Galapagos sharks. Intrada Records has released the label’s new recordings of the scores for the 1948 horror comedy Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein directed by Charles Barton and starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Lon Chaney Jr. & Bela Lugosi and 1955’s Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops directed by Charles Lamont and starring Abbott, Costello, Fred Clark & Mack Sennett. The album features the music from Meet the Frankenstein composed by Academy Award nominee Frank Sinner (Saboteur, Arabian Nights, The House of the Seven Gables) and Meet the Keystone Kops by William Lava (Looney Tunes, Dracula vs. Frankenstein), Herman Stein (Revenge of the Creature) & Academy Award winner Henry Mancini ((The Pink Panther, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Thorn Birds), newly recorded with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra under the baton of William T. Stromberg.
