The details of the first soundtrack album for the second season of Lucasfilm’s Disney+ original series Andor have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the first three episodes of Season 2 composed by Brandon Roberts (Thanksgiving, Chaos Walking, Fear Street Part 2: 1978, Land of Bad, Underwater, Motherland: Fort Salem, On a Wing and a Prayer, The Twilight Zone). Nicholas Britell who scored the first season has contributed the original Andor themes. The Volume 1 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 25 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A first track has already been released earlier this week and three more albums featuring music from the final nine episodes will be coming out over the next couple of weeks. Andor is created by Tony Gilroy and stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Adria Arjona, Ben Mendelsohn, Denise Gough, Faye Marsay, Kyle Soller, Alan Tudyk, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau and Forest Whitaker. Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Wreck-It-Ralph, Big Hero 6, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Kingsman: The Secret Service) is attached to score the (currently untitled) next installment in Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse movie franchise. The film is directed by Grant Sputore (I Am Mother) and stars Dan Stevens (who reprises his role as Trapper), as well as Kaitlyn Dever, Jack O’Connell, Sam Neill, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Matthew Modine and Delroy Lindo.
