The album features the film’s original music composed by Johannes Winkler (Brats, Perla) & Edo Van Breemen (The Monkey, Air, Afflicted, Hollow in the Land). Belgian experimental jazz musician Nala Sinephro is making her feature scoring debut on the upcoming biographical sports drama The Smashing Machine. The film is written and directed by Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems, Good Times) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Ryan Bader, Oleksandr Usyk and Bas Rutten. The movie tells the story of legendary mixed martial arts & UFC fighter Mark Kerr as he struggles with addiction, winning, love and friendship at the peak of his career in the year 2000. Hollywood Records & Marvel Music will release the official soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ feature Thunderbolts*. The album features the film’s original music composed by the Academy Award-nominated three-member, experimental band Son Lux (Ryan Lott, Ian Chang & Rafiq Bhatia) (Everything Everywhere All at Once, Paper Towns, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby).
