Varese Sarabande and Music.Film Recordings have announced a soundtrack album for the action sequel John Wick 3: Parabellum. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, 300, Watchmen, The Punisher) & Joel J. Richard who previously co-scored the first two parts in the series. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 17  (click here to download) and physically on May 31. The full details of the soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller The Curse of La Llorona have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Annabelle, Insidious, The Prodigy). Paul Haslinger (UnderworldHalt and Catch Fire, Crank) confirmed in a recent interview with The 405 that is reuniting with director Paul W.S. Anderson on the upcoming film adaptation of the Capcom video game Monster Hunter. The film is written and directed by Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich, Diego Boneta, Tonya Jaa, Ron Perlman, Meagan Good and T.I. Harris. Anderson (Mortal Kombat, Event Horizon) is also producing the project with Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil, Pompeii) and Robert Kulzer (Fantastic Four, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments). Torin Borrowdale is reteaming with director Aneesh Chaganty on the upcoming thriller Run. The film starring Sarah Paulson and Kiera Allen centers on the mother of a teenage girl who has been raised in total isolation and whose life begins to unravel as she discovers her mother’s sinister secret. Chaganty also co-wrote the screenplay with Sev Ohanian (The Intervention, Take Me) who is producing the project with Natalie Qasabian (All About Nina, Duck Butter). The show is directed by Geeta Gandbhir & Sam Pollard and investigates the human capacity for hatred and how we can overcome it. The 6-parter traces the evolutionary basis of hate and uses stories from past and present to reveal the nature of the primal and universal emotion. Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day) has been tapped to score the upcoming Child’s Play reboot. The film is directed by Lars Klevberg (Polaroid) and stars Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry and Gabriel Bateman, as well as Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky. The horror thriller is based on the 1988 classic (scored by Joe Renzetti) and follows a single mother who gifts her son a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature. Tyler Burton Smith wrote the screenplay. David Katzenberg (It, The Goldbergs) and Seth Grahame-Smith (The Lego Batman Movie, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) are producing the project. Atlantic Records has released the first soundtrack for the new FX limited series Fosse/Verdon. The 3-track single features the show’s theme composed by Alex Lacamoire who serves as the project’s music director.
