The album features the expanded and remastered original score from the movie composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English PatientThe Talented Mr. Ripley1408Cold Mountain), including 20 minutes of previously unreleased music. chambre-noireA soundtrack album has been announced for Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s fantasy drama Daguerrotype (Le secret de la chambre noire). The album features the film’s original music composed by Grégoire Hetzel (Incendies, My Golden Days, The Tree). The soundtrack will be released overseas on February 24, 2017 by Cristal Records. Daguerrotype is co-written and directed by Kurosawa (Pulse, Tokyo Sonata) and stars Tahar Rahim, Constance Rousseau, Olivier Gourmet and Mathieu Amalric. The show’s first season, Bette and Joan, centers on the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis during the filming of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and after filming ended. The show is developed by Ryan Murphy (GleeNip/Tuck) and stars Jessica Lange as Crawford, Susan Sarandon as Davis, alongside Judy Davis, Jackie Hoffman, Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci and Alison Wright. lizzieJeff Russo is currently scoring the upcoming psychological thriller Lizzie. The film is directed by Craig William Macneill (The Boy) and stars Kristen Stewart, Chloe Sevigny, Kim Dickens, Denis O’Hare, Fiona Shaw, Jamey Sheridan and Jeff Perry. The movie tells the story surrounding the infamous murder trial of convicted axe killer Elizabeth Borden who was eventually acquitted for the 1892 murder her father and stepmother in Fall Rivers, MA. Bryce Kass wrote the screenplay. Naomi Despres (Kill the Messenger) and Elizabeth Destro (Life of Crime) are producing the project. The show is created by Bill Dubuque (The Judge, The Accountant) and stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney and Julia Garner. The drama takes place in the dark and dangerous world of drug-money laundering and revolves around a financial planner, his wife and their family’s sudden relocation from a Chicago suburb to a resort community in the Missouri Ozarks. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Taran Killam and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bobby Moynihan, Cobie Smulders, Paul Brittain, Hannah Simone and Ryan Gaul. Killam also wrote the screenplay and appears in the movie, which follows a group of eccentric assassins who are fed up with Gunther, the world’s greatest hit-man and decide to kill him.
