Atli Orvarsson is reteaming with director Grímur Hákonarson on the upcoming Icelandic comedy drama The County. The film is written and directed by Hákonarson and stars Arndis Hronn Egilsdottir and Sigurdur Sigurjonsson. The movie centers on a middle-aged dairy farmer who decides to start a new life on her own terms after her husband dies and rises up against corruption and injustice in her community. Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the political comedy drama Vice written and directed by Adam McKay and starring Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Steve Carrell, Sam Rockwell, Jesse Plemons, Alison Pill, Lily Rabe and Tyler Perry. The film’s original music is composed by Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, The Big Short, If Beale Street Could Talk, Battle of the Sexes, Succession).
