A soundtrack album will be released for the biographical drama Marie Curie. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bruno Coulais (Coraline, The Chorus, The Crimson Rivers, Winged Migration). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 10 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Marie Curie is directed by Marie Noelle and stars Karolina Gruszka, Charles Berling, André Wilms, Daniel Olbrychski, Samuel Finzi and Sabin Tambrea. The movie tells the life story of Curie, the first-ever woman to win a Nobel Prize for her achievements in physics in 1903 and who later won another Nobel prize in chemistry in 1911. Intrada Records has announced the world premiere commercial soundtrack release for the 1994 family movie Baby’s Day Out directed by Patrick Read Johnson, written and produced by John Hughes and starring Joe Mantegna, Lara Flynn Boyle and Joe Pantoliano. The album features the original music from the 20th Century Fox production composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Rescuers Down Under, Young Sherlock Holmes, Lost in Space). The show is written by John Erick Dowdle (Quarantine, Devil) & Drew Dowdle and stars Michael Shannon and Taylor Kitsch. The 6-parter is based on the true story of the 1993 FBI siege of a religious sect in Waco, Texas that resulted in the deadly shoot out and fire. John Erick Dowdle is also directing the series. The Dowdle brothers are executive producing the Weinstein Television production with Shannon, Kitsch, Harvey Weinstein & Bob Weinstein, David Glasser, Jennifer Malloy and Megan Spanjian. Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the French psychological horror thriller Raw. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jim Williams (Sightseers, Kill List, A Field in England). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 10, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Death Waltz Recording Company will release a vinyl version in mid-April. Lionsgate today announced that the world premiere of La La Land in Concert: A Live-to-Film Celebration will take place at the Hollywood Bowl on Memorial Day weekend Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27. Composer Justin Hurwitz will conduct his Academy Award-winning score for Damien Chazelle’s hit film musical and song City of Stars (with lyrics by Benj Pasek &Justin Paul) performed live-to-film by a 100-piece symphony orchestra, choir, and Jazz ensemble, accompanying the film’s original vocal recordings.
